Triston got me up at 3am, so I figured since I'm not going back to sleep I could update my blog.
Jon is almost done at one site on Camp Pen and moving just down the street to start another building (huge building) next week. He really enjoys all the guys he works with, about 90% of them are Christian. And since most are mexican too his Spanish is improving!
We got my great grandmothers table and chairs last week, except the chairs don't have any seats. Jon is cutting wood to go in and I'm buying foam and fabric to put on them. I'll be sanding and staining the table too, after a 100 years it still looks pretty darn good! The neatest thing is my dad remembers eating at it when he was a boy.
We picked avocados yesterday, Jon would climb up high in the trees and send them down to me. We have all the plants and seeds that are going into our garden and we are starting it today after church.
Church! We love our church here! Amazing worship and the preacher is so funny but gets right to the point. We have been in 1 John for a couple weeks. And today I believe we are all going to be praying for the sex slavery in America to stop. There's 4,500 other churches that are also praying today together(it's always good to pray everyday for that also).
Triston has said his first word "mama" and loves saying it. Jon might be a lil envy that he didn't say dada first but he won't admit it lol. He also started this new "farting" sound with his tongue. He thinks he's so funny and does it all the time. I always thought it was funny until yesterday at the mall when he decided to do his fart noises in the woman's bathroom. I can only guess what those ladies thought haha. His two back molars are also cutting in, very uncommon I read, but not unheard of. So hes been a lil cranky once in awhile but it's excepted. He doesn't even have his front teeth yet. Poor guy.
I started walking with my sister and jump roping at home. We want to work up to running three times a week by summer. We both use to work out a ton so we know what it takes to get back into shape...maybe that's why I'm dreading it haha. I've also been trying to more watchful on what I eat. In-n-out hasn't slowed me down, they have a "protein" burger that's the patty, tomato, their sauce wrapped in lettuce. It's ALMOST as good...almost haha. My sister also introduced me to one of her friends and we had our 2nd moms and kids date the other day. They are both reading the hunger games do we can all talk about it haha. Ahh can't wait for the movie!
A close family friend is having their wedding at our place this March. Excited to have everyone here! My dads been planting flowers and more fruit trees. He also is starting a vineyard. He has all the holes dug out and I believe he will be putting in the plants today or tomorrow. He's also building an arena for the horses, and to get to the arena you have to walk through the vineyard. We are having a big birthday party for him next weekend. Having all his side of the family down for a long weekend. I'm excited to see them since it's been 10 years since I've seen some of them.
Jeff and Sherri are coming the following weekend for a week. Excited to have them down as is Triston!
Well that's about everything to keep you up to speed! We are loving it here!

Dont know why

Last week we found out I was pregnant. We figured i was about 7 or 8 weeks along. The thought of having two babies under a year old scared me but I couldn't have been more happy. Jon and I were excited to welcome another baby into our family. But sadly yesterday I miscarried. The pain of going through 3 miscarriages in two years was overwhelming. Something that I always tell women that miscarry is if I didn't miscarry the first two times I wouldn't have triston now. I'm hoping/knowing I will look back and understand why it happened.
During worship today at church we sang a song called "forever reign" and it couldn't of been a better song for me. I wanna write the lyrics so you can read them. So many times I'll just sing worship songs, but when I make it a prayer to God is when things change. When my heart changes and my mind is renewed.

" You are good, You are good
When there's nothing good in me
You are love, You are love
On display for all to see

You are light, You are light
When the darkness closes in
You are hope, You are hope
You have covered all my sin

You are peace, You are peace
When my fear is crippling
You are true, You are true
Ever in my wandering

You are joy, You are joy
You're the reason that I sing
You are life, You are life
In You death has lost its sting

Oh, I'm running to Your arms
I'm running to Your arms
The riches of Your love will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world forever reign

You are more, You are more
Than my words will ever say
You are Lord, You are Lord
All creation will proclaim

You are here, You are here
In Your presence I'm made whole
You are God, You are God
Of all else I'm letting go

Hallelujah, forever
All the glory, forever
All the praise to You"

He is Joy, He is peace, He makes me whole when I fall apart. The healing I get from God is amazing. The pain of the loss of this little baby has not gone away but Gods peace is over me today. Its so wonderful to have a God Who loves me so much and gives me strength when I lack it.
I cant wait to meet our three babies that are up in heaven one day. They are perfect right now and with Jesus.

Daily Living

We have now been in our new place for I believe two weeks. We started off with just a bed, then got some bar stools, then two chairs, and then a couch! We are still using laundry baskets for bedside tables, and a chair for a coffee table, but that's ok!
I found this old antique barn down the road and there's so much cute stuff! I'm excited that I'll be picking up my grandmothers old dining room table next week too! I believe my dad said it's over a 100 years old and has sentimental value to it too!
Jon and I go to bed every night around 7 so we can be asleep by 8. It felt so early at first, but after waking up at 4:15-4:30 everyday(plus getting up with Triston multiple times a night) 8 almost seems late! Jon heads to work around 5:10 and drives a good 40-45 minutes in the morning to work. Starts at 6am and He gets off around 3 unless they work over time. His drive home is usually about 45 mins to and hour depending on traffic. He has been working so hard!
Last weekend we had so much fun. Our little family went to an old surf town and walked around, played games, ate a lot of food, watched movies, went to church and just enjoyed each other. I am truly blessed to have such a good life.
We sold our car back in Fairbanks! That means Jon is looking for a car for him. He's been driving "my car" around and I've been carless..actually I haven't driven since we've been here..that's like a month and half! Haha pretty sad, hope I don't forget how to drive!
I am almost halfway done with the second book in the Hunger Games. It is my all time favorite book(s) now. It's so hard to put it down! Excited for the movie to come out but then again, they could totally wreck it!
Triston has now been in his pack-n-play crib at night for a week. I bring it right up to my side of the bed and so when he Wakes up to eat I'm right here. I must say, having the bed back down to just two people is nice! And I can move without being scared of waking him up. Triston has perfected the art of sucking on his toes. He has now eaten apple sauce, pears, bananas and squash. He didn't care for squash one bit. He will be 5 months old next week, hard to believe!
It's been in the high 70s and 80s everyday. Which has taken some time getting use to! Weird to have fans on in February! But I am not complaining! I started my "body makeover" this week. Have been eating better, and exercising. I took some before photos so I will be determined to take after photos since so many people's before and after blogs has inspired me to get fit. I said this in a post on Facebook but being thin and being fit are two different things. Ive been in very good shape since I was 18. Went to the gym pretty much everyday, and now after ive had triston I've been pretty lax on working out. Well like I said before he's almost 5 months old and it's almost beach season here!
Well that's an overview of our daily lives here in California!
